CHRISTCHURCH, July 9It is understood that the Ceremonial and Entertainment Committee have, after consultation with the Hon. J. McGowan, the Minister in charge of the Exhibition, sent forward the names of Messrs Arundel Orchard, of Sydney, and Alfred Hill, of Wellington, to the the Government, leaving it to them to appoint one of the two as conductor, of the Exhibition rchestra.
