Moa, from Wanganui '..■'■■ Alexander, from Norh Kennedy, from Wellington The sea along the coast continued heavy yesterday and prevented any ship ping movements at this port. The Arahura left Westport last night and is; expected here early this morning if she. can work, the port She will leave on her return trip at 10 a m to-day. . The Himitangi leaves Foxton for this port to-morrow to load State coal. ■ Confirmation of the sailing last Thursday of the St. Kilda from Newcastle with a cargo of hardwood timber for this port has been received by the local agents, Mark Sprot and Co. ~The timber is for Mr Slowey, the contractor of several bridges on the Ho-kitika-Ross railway. The. St. Kilda will probably load coal here for Kai- ; para or white pine for Australia. It appears that, the Kini's mishap was the'breaking of her tail shaft, and she will have towed from the Westport roadstead to Wellington,- where she will go on the slip. It is probable that she will be towed by the Taieri. The Koonya Jeft Westport last night and brings on to this port the cargo transhipped from the Mapourika. . Two sailors belonging to the barque Fiam, now in Westport, have deserted from the ship..
