SERIOUS CARRIAGE ACCIDENT.

PITAL INJURED.

WANGANUI, March 29.

While driving this afternoon Mrs (Dr) Fenwick, and Miss Griffiths, matron of the We.stland Hospital, Hokitika, met with a nasty accident, as the result of which Miss Griffiths sustained severe injuries, including a fractured elbow, which necessitated her •removal to the hospital. At the lime of the accident Miss Griffiths was on her way to visit the matron of the hospital. Mrs Fenwick, though bruised and shaken, was not seriously injured. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
