KANAKA LABOR.
MELBOURNE, March 29.
The Minister of Agriculture for Queensland interviewed Mr Deakin and pointed out the serious position which will arise after December 31st, when the Kanaka agreements become inoperative. No provision has been made for their maintenance pending deportation. There are six thousand Kanakas who will be debarred from work.
