The Feddersen Dredge, after some weeks' unsatisfactory operations, has again worked back to payable ground, the return for the past week being 42 oz of gold for 119 hours.
The new road to the Westland Reefs via the Styx is being pushed on with all expedition," Roadman Milner having' about 30 men employed on it. The various Government and County roads and other public works throughout the country are also being forwarded as fast as possible so that all available labor in the district is being made use of, (West Coj^st Times.)
