From evidence discovered by the police ifc has been' found that .they have had' awaited tlie publication of the paper oonGaining the -story, and on its appearance the girl shot her lover dead, and tJicw took her own life as was described in th •■;■ story they had written. In Kdcdiicinf'ls 'pocf^e-ii was found >v letter addressed to liis parents and those of his sweetheart begging as a last favour that they might be buried in a.common grave.
