Wanganui Gas Works
4. • (PER PRE3S ASSOCIATION.) WANGANITI, April 18. At the annual meeting of the Borough Council this evening it was reported that the muhiicipal gas works liad made ? profit of £2,747 during the year. Since ■the gasworks were municipalised a reduction of 30 per cent in the sealing price of gas has been made. The price next year will be 5 per cent per 1000 feet.
