Youthful Criminals

(PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. Four lads, Richard Came, aged 10, Joseph Norman, aged 17, Harry Morphy, aged 10, and Walter Baker, aged 10, were brought, up for sentence to-day before the Chief Justice on charges of breaking and entering at Feilding. As favourable reports were forthcoming about Morphy, ho was admitted to probation. Two of tho other boys had been punished before for theft and arc now awaiting tri.il for arson. His Honor said he did not know what to do with the lads, but on receiving an assurance from tho gaoler that they would bo kept apart in the prison he passed tho nominal 1 sentence of three months imprisonment.
