Board of oian~ agemenfc of the Veterans' Home at Government House to«day the selection of the remaining inmates for the Home was made, the following being chosen : Mairied men — Wm Irwin of Dunedin, 21 years service ; Cornelius Sullivan (Ohmtehurch), 21 years; Allan Haigh (Grey mouth) 12 years. Single men— Jesse Pantling (Auckland , 15 years; David Dunlop (West, Coast), 14 years ; Thos Lake (Auckland), paralysed from wounds in the New Zealand war ; James Larkin, Methven, 21 years ; Wm Craig (')unelin), 14 years; Herbert Blake (Kumara), 6 "year?, disabl d from wounds ab Orakau ; Wm Malone (Grey:owu), 15 years ; John Poidie (Whangarie), 11 y.'urs ; Thos Why;e, 5 years ; Patrick Hoy (Mercury Bay) 19 years ; John Halloran (Auckland), 12 years; John Purvis (Thames), 16 years; John Patterson (Auckland), 10 yeas ; John Brien (Whakapara), 14 years ; Daniel Broderick (Paparoa), 26 yeais; Isaac Gooder (Pnlmerston North), 20 >ears ; James Gamble (Raglan), 14 years.
