The Daily Mail's Sydney correspondent mentions teports of the discovery of abundant gold, one report referring to hil s of gold which only need quarrying. He also states that the assays made at Adelaide _how extraordinary richness. The Pall Mall Gazette says that " hills of gold" sounds a tall order, but remembering Mount Morgan it would not bo extraordiuary if Arltunga prove as rich as scores of other Australian fields. Nevertheless it advises
