For Christchurch and south, per Rosamond, at 3 p m For the present a direct steamer from Wellington to Sydney will be dispatched on Friday in place of Saturday, which will enable connection to be made with Federal mail leaving Sydney the foliow- , ing Tuesday. The first dispatch after arrival of San Fraucisco mail atAuck- | land will convey all mail matter for Great Britain and Europe ; for other federal mails correspondence should be specially addressed. Mails for Durban via Sydney .nd Fremantle, close at Wellington on Wednesday, 21st inst ab 5 p m, per s s Sussex. Mails for Adelaide, Albany, Natal and CapetoiTii, leave Melbourne on 10th February, per Wilcannia.
