While the certificates of the first and second officers must be returned, r'th*-ir conduct was not amendable f cii her in handling the boats or leaving passengers adrift on rafts. Capt.in Allwood's certificate was suspendo. 1 for n. year and he was ordered to pay LSO towards the costs of the enquiry. Referring to the conduct of those on the rafts, the court expressed the opinion that there was no foundation

for any charge of unnatural conduct though the survivors had gone through as much as mea could and live.
