Will the Council kindly instruct me as to what course they wish to be pursued in regard to this matter." Resolved that the Mayor call the Council together after the holidays' to inspect the plans and come to some decision on tke matter. On the motion of Cr Sheedy it was resolved to instruct the Inspectors to start a crusade against rats ; also that threepence be allowed on all dead rats delivered at the gas works.
