» Monday, August 26th. (Before E S Hawkins, Esq, S M.) A charge against Mrs Braidwood of ili-treating a dog was heard. Accuied was convicted and discharged. The evidence showed that the dog was tied up in the usual way, but by some means or other the rope got foul and choked the animal. Eaeson and Coy v W E Jones, claim for Ll5 18s Bd. Judgment by default with costs. Thomas and M'Beath v T Willis, claim for L 4 19s for goods supplied. Judgment by default with costs. Two Old Age Pensions were granted respectively for LI 7 and LI 8.
