(Received Augut 21, at 1.9 a.m.) Sydhky, August 20. 290 returned troops, including a number belonging to the late China contingent, sailed on the Britannic for South Africa, under af reement to be drafted to any regiment. LtftD**, August 20. Before he was expelled from the C*pe Colony Commandant Kruitzinger was chased and hustled by the converging columns, harassed by the blockhouaes, and compelled to maintain a running fight for 30 miles. They killed 150 of their own horses. The British found a dozen wounded Boers on his track.
