At the Epsom summer meeting the -Derby resulted as follows : — Duke of Westminster's Flying Fox ... 1 Damocles ... >>t 2 Innocence . „ 3 Betting at the start was 5 to 2 on Flying Fox, 15 to 1 against Damocles, 50 to 1 Innocence. (Received June 2, at 040 am.) London, June 1. Twelve started for the Derby Holocauste, ridden by Tod Sloan, led for over a mile, entering the straight Flying Fox, ridden by Morning Cannon, led llolocauste, who stumbled, breaking his off fore pastern. He was subsequently poleaxed. Flying Fox won by two lengths. Time, 2 42 4-5.
