[by electric telegraph— copyright.] Sydney, May 1. The steamer Tomki struck Morua Point, near Port Stephens, and was beached. The crew and 50 passengers were saved. The vessel was subsequently floated, the crew stopping the leak, and the vessel is proceeding to Sydney. (Received May 3, at 0 30 a m) Hobart, Mary 2. The Governor has sailed for England on six months' leave of absence. Sydney, May 2. The Cabinet affirmed the suspension and arrest of Neild, but in viewofNeild s unqualified and unreserved expression of regret and the admission, of error and tho state of his health at the ti.ne no further punishment will be awarded.
