«. Second Day [per press association.] , • Wellington, April 28. The second day of the Wellington Autumn meeting was held to-day in lovely weather, there being a good attendance. L 10,923 went through the tote, which is L4OOO more than the second day last year. The total for the meeting was L 22.091, which is a record for the Wellington Club. The results are : — Hutt Handicap— Faladin 1, First Blood 2, Tauhei 3. Won easily by half a length. Time 1 42 4-5 ; div L 3 19s St Leger— Altair 1, Djin Djin 2, Tigress 3. Won eaaily by a length and a half. Time 39 j div LI 5s Hack Welter— Ruby Twist 1, Sirocco 2, Cornea 3. Time 2 1| ; div L 2 Is Autumn Handicap — Battloaxe 1, Paladin 2, Casfcashore 3. Won by half a length. Time 211 2-5 ; div L 3 5s Hurdles — Whangaroa 1, Kauri Gum 2, Tataramoa3. Won in a canter. Time 2 52* ; div LI 8s Suburban Handicap — Tigress 1, Sylvia Park 2, Okoari 3. Wen by two lengths. Time 1 29 2-5 : div Ll6 18s Hack Flying— Single Shot 1, Ngatahura 2, In the Swim 3. Won easily. Time 117; div L 7 17s Farewell Handicap— Ngapuru 1, Sedgebrook 2, Armoureaux 3. Won easily. Time 1 1| ; div L 3 12s
