Mr Guinness, for defendant, raised no objection to Mr Hannan's request that the proceedings be adjourned to, fche mine to enable His Worship and Mr Hannan to become acquainted with the, working of the machinery and thus shorten the proceedings. His Worship adjourned the case to the mine at two o'clock,- when a shorthand writer wilt also be in attendance. ■
