The English and Continental wheat markets are steady and the American is hardening. Twelve thousand quarters of Australian wheat, March shipment, were sold at 27s 3d. April shipments are 275. The sugar market is quiet. — Java, 12s 6d ; German beet 10s 7id. Copper — Spot, 73 ; three months, 73. Tin— ll2s. Iron — 545. Lead— l4s. Spelter— 27§. The Bradford wool market is very firm.
