Heavy rain fell nearly a'l day yesterday, and at 1 30 the Grey Jockey Club stewards met on the course and postponed the races till half-past 12 to-day, when it Is to be hoped the weather will permit of the various events being got uff. The Hon Mr Seddon was yesterday on his way to the West Coast from Nelson. Stepa are being taken at Kumara to present Dr Mylea with a testimonial. It is expected to be of a substantial nature.
