The above Company desire to notify to the public of Greymouth that the PRICE OF'OAS for lighting purposes has been REDUCED by allowing an extra discount of 2s per 1000 feet if paid on or before the 11th of each month, now making the net price 10a. For heating and cooking purposes, 50 per cent allowed. ; j This very considerable reduction will bring the use of gas within the reach of 1 all classes of the community, and the Com-' I pany hope to recelvd : a^large^namber ofj applications for gas services during the; , month. A number of GAS COOKING STOVES of the latest and most improved pattern have been landed from England, which the Company sell AT NET COST PRICE, and, if desired, on the deferred payment system. The Company have also on hand a large assortment of GAS HEATING STOVES, which they sell at cost price. A gas fire is invaluable for cleanliness, comfort, and convenience, and in our cold climate Vill be found most useful for heating bedrooms, offices, and drawing rooms, where au occasional fire only is necessary. A large stock of COKE is now on hand at the works, and at the rate at which itit is seld, viz., three sacks for la, should command, a ready sale. . ;. * Arrangements have been made whereby ten Backs will be delivered in any part of the borough for 6s.
