♦ [FP.O.AI A COK RESPONDENT.] Lyell, November 16. The result ot the Lyell election is — Fennell 53 Aitken 42 Munro 31 At the concluaion Fennell and Aitken addressed the electors, and the latter pointed oub the present indebtedness of the council and returned thanks for Munro. There was very little excitement, except at Fennell's position on the poll, as It was unexpected.
