HARBOR BOARD.
A special meeting of tha Greymouth Harbor Board was held last evening at 730 o'clock pm. Present — The Chairman (Mr Kerr), Messrs Guinness, Sheedy, and Petrie. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Works Committee's report dealing with the purchase of the Bteam-tug Wes>tland was read, received, and adopted. The d^ed of agreement for the purchase of the steam-tug Wsstland was settled and adapted, and payment was ordered to bo made in ace irdanue therewith. Mr Petrie moved, and Mr Sheedy seconded — " That the resolution passed at the meeting of the board held on Monday, 24- h October, authorising the Works Committee to fill up with s'oue behind the new wharf at a cost not exceeding £400 be rescinded " — Carried. Mr Petrie moved, and Mr Sheedy seconded— " That Mr Price's offer (0 supply 2000 tons of stone foe fi ling v].» behind the new wharf at 2s 6d psr ton within threo month.3 be accepted." — Car= ried.
