Wellington, Oct. 12.
In the Supreme Court, in the caae Lahmann v. Phoenix Fire Insurance Company, being a claim for £75 insurance on a wine vault damaged by fire in June last, and £25 damages for breach of contract, defendants refused to pay the insurance on the ground that the place was set on fire. A verdict waa returned for plaintiff for £16.
