BAYFEILD, Trafalgar street, Nelson, agent for the West Coast. pi REV COUNTY COUNCIL XX — Notice ishereby given that it is the intention of the Grey County Council, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loan Act, 1886," and " The Government Loans to Local 'Bodies 1 Act, 1886,"! to raise a loan for the benefit of that portion of the Grey County which includes 4he whole of the Brunner ten riding, except that part thereof which is situated to the north' of Ford's Creek and a line drawn' running dud west from the head of the left hand branch of Ford's Creek to the' western boundary of the said Brunnerton riding ; and it is also notified— First— That the particular works to be undertaken are the construction of a fontbridge across the Grey river between Wallsend and Taylorville, and the formation of a street from the western boundary of Dobsontbwn, through Dobsontown, Wallsend, and Brunnerton,' to the eastern end of the railway tunnel. Second — The sum proposed to be borrowed Is £2500 ; and it is proposed that the cost of raising the loan and the interest for one year during the construction of the said works, Bhall be paid out of the moneyß to be borrowed. Third— lt is proposed to pledge as security for the said loan a special rate not exceeding one farthing in the pound, upon the value of all the rateable property (exclusive of Crown and Native lands) appearing on the valution list now in force for that portion of the Brunnerton riding hereinbefore 'described ; and it is also notifihd that a MEETING ot the RATEPAYERS of that portion of the said BRUNNERTON RIDING hereinbefore described, will be held on the NINTH day of FEBRUARY, 1887, at eight o'olock in the evening, at the Good Templarß' Hall, Brunnerton, to consider the said proposal ; and it is also notified that the chairman of the Grey County Council has appointed Joseph Taylor, Esq., the member of the Grey County Council for the Brunnerton riding, to preside at the said meeting.
