A GOLDFIELD AT O AMARU.
Oajiaku, July -2.7.
It is stated that gold in payable quantities has been found near Hampden, about 25 miles south of Oamaru, on Kitchener's run. Men have been prospecting in the locality for some time, and steps are being taken to have the locality declared a goldfield.
