AUSTRALIANS V. YORKSHIRE.
London, July 24. The cricket match, Australians v. Yorkshire, was resumed at Huddersfield today. • The Home team, who had 145 for the loss of five wickets, continued their first innings, which closed for 258, towards which Pell contributed 52 and Lee 59. The Australians then went to the wickets for their first innings, and were all disposed of for 169 ; M'llwraith, c, 41 ; Garrett, c, 38, being the principal 1 scorers. The visitors being 89 behind the Yorkshire men, followed on, and at the conclusion of the day's play had made 24 without the loss of a wicket. The match was then drawn.
