THE ROTORUA SUFFERERS.

The Speakers of the Legislative Houses and the Mayor met His Excellency the Governor to-day to consider what steps shall be taken for the relief of the sufferers by the Rotorua eruptions. The Hon. Mr Larnach was also present. After some discussion it was decided that a conversazione on a large scale should be held in the Parliamentary buildings at an early date, and the Hon. Mr Millar, Hon. Mr Walker, Hon. Col. Brett, Hon. W. J. M. Larnach, Mr J. M. Dargaville, and Mr Ji. D. Lance, being three representatives from each of the Houses, should be a committee to carry out the arrangements.
