LICENSING.
Auckland, March 5. Several publicans of City North have a fear, in spite of the decision of the Licensing Committee, that the police prosecution will be heard before the Magistrate as a test case. The Resident Magistrate has not yet fixed the date for the scrutiny into the City South licensing election, in which three moderate members are petitione-1 against, and will probably be unseated, through a number of the voting papers being informal.
