MAURITIUS ADVICES

Adelaide, February 22. The Messageries Maritimes s.s. Yarra arrived this morning. She brings Mauritius advices to the sth inst. Under that date Messrs Ireland, Fraser, and Co. report that the sugar harvest operations are nearly finished . The month's engagements for New Zealand are — Auckland, 600 tons, and Wellington 600 tons. Freights to Australia, 15s to J9s per ton ; ditto New Zealand, 255 ; exchange, 60 day's bank credits — New Zealand, 8 per cent ; ditto Australia, 8£ per cent. The stocks of sugar amount to 49,000 tons. The exports to New Zealand this season are 5,000 tons.
