PROHIBITION OF NEW ZEALAND SHEEP TO N.S W.
Wellington, February 4, A proclamation from New South Wales appears in the Gazette prohibiting the importation of New Zealand sheep into New South Wales for a period of 12 months from the sth ult. ; a further proclamation from the same colony •prohibits the importation or introduction of any cattle, sheep, goats, or swine from Europe, Asia, Africa, or America, or any place not being within the Australian Colonies, for a period of 12 months from the Ist inst.
