RIFLE COMPETITION.
The first competition for Mr Kent's rifle was fired by the Navals and Rifles on Friday ahdiSaturday last. Owing- to the fine weather, and the great interest taken in rifle shooting, the number of entries was^yery_ largef: 27 Navals and 28 Riflea having competed. The following are the -scores:—
