UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MINES.
Dunedin, December 8. - The University Council have resolved to discontinue the School of Mines unless further inducement is held out to the students. They recommend Government to ask Professor Ulrich to travel round and inspect and report upon the goldfields. Failing this, that the_Bchool be discontinued. >'~
