FIRE.

Shortly after midnight on Saturday a fire broke out in Mackie's carriage factory High street, and before it was suppressed £120G worth of damage was done. The building, which did not sustain much injury, is insured for £800 in the South British. Mr Mackie, who estimates his loss at £900, was uninsured. The operations of the Fira Brigade were much impeded by the telephone wires.
