TELEGRAMS.
[united press association.] AUCKLAND UNEMPLOYED. Auckland, December 5. The Mayor has received the following telegram from the Minister for Publ'c Works re the unemployed :— " I will see what can be done. I much regret, owing to Parliament refusing to p ss a vote for railway works in the Auckland District, that I am placed at a disadvantage, but 1 shall use my best endeavors to assist, and I rely on the local bodies helping.
