NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
Wanganui, December 2. A meeting of the late executive of the New Zealand Rifle Association was held here this afternoon. Captain Somerville was instructed to proceed to Wellington to try to arrange matters for the meeting to be held here in March next. The executive consider that the committee appointed by the delegates at Island Bay, and confirmed at the general meeting of members held in Wellington, is the present managing committee of the Association.
