LIVE STOCK MARKET. Monday, November 16. Fat Cattle. —The number yarded was in excess of demand, and consequently there were some left unsold. The quality was from real prime downwards to almost storeß, but the average were far away above the usual mark. The top price reached for the first pen of 8 was £13 per head, and the balance an average of fully £10 103. A fat cow fetched £5 5s ; and two frames of milch cows £2 10s each. Some local stock submitted were too near •tores to be appreciated, and were left unsold- We quote -prime beef at 27s per lOOlbs ; and inferior dovrn to 22s 6d. Fat Sheep. —Only the show sheep were sold, realising 16s 6d per head ; the full woolled sheep, which were smaller, being withdrawn at 17s per head. We quote prime mutton at 3d per lb. Fat Lambs. — There were only 8 yarded, and they realised an average of 11s 9 per head. Fat Pigs. — Those yarded were useful porkers, and brought from 57s 6d downwards, according to size, or an average value of about 5d per lb.
