EAST AND WEST COAST RAILWAY.
At the Chamber 1 of ' Commerce quarterly meeting to-day, Mr T. £.! Travers, President, strongly condemned the action of the Wellington members in opposing the construction of the East and West Coast Railway, as he considered its construction would be the means of opening up immense undeveloped resources.
