FATAL BOATING ACCIDENT.
Timartj, October 15,
John Munro, head shepherd on the Mount Mistake station, M'Kenzie country, was drowned on Thursday afternoon in Lake Tekapo, through the capsizing of a boat about three miles from the f errry. A man named Thos Goodman, who was with Munro, was picked off the bottom of the boat in an exhausted condition. Munro had no relations in the colony so far as is known.
