(1) Cr Warren to move : — 1. That the embankment at bottovn of the hill on the south side of the New River pnthe Dunganville rpad fe be inclined;four feet)on .the short i- side of the curve for a length of L four or five chains, more or less, & and the grade eased. p. 2. That the Road Overseer be in- *% structed to make a rough 'survey and estimate the cost of deviation - to ease grade on the Hokltika main road up the big hill from Mars'den, and that application be made to Government for construction of same. &.. (2) Cr Taylor to move : — f." 1. That tenders be called for widening and improving the roadway at" : Wallsend fronting business places. ;.." 2. That about 15 chains of roadway \ fronting section-holders' properties at Taylorville be formed and metalled, provided they pay one- ■ third of the cost. (3) Cr Marshall to move : — 1. That the road leading from Orwell Creek road towards Duggan's farm be repaired, as the said road is used by the miners and residents of Orwell Creek. 2. That tendersbe called-for repairs to Pothan's hill by way of easing the grade and giving more batter to the said hill. 3. That the Council fence off the most dangerous gravel pits on the main Grey road at Totara Flat. , .jV (4) Cr Parfitt to move : — 1. That the track to Owen's Lookput and the new rush, Nelson Creeir", "be repaired and maintained i ■'••■• and tenders called for the same. ! 2. That tenders be called for repairs and maintenance of track to Calligan's as far as Holloway's 3. That tenders be called for repairs and maintenance of track to Kangaroo Creek, £-mile from junction of creek up creek. 4. That the Overseer be instructed to survey track from Callaghan's Creek to the Ahaura river, taking into consideration the route of the Nelson Creek water-race, and that a grant be applied for out of the vote for prospecting tracks. NOTICE OF MOTION. 1. Cr Ryall to move —That tenders be called for the alteration of the grade, and widening where necessary, of the road Cobden to Coal Creek, and metalling to boundary of Cobden and Brunnerton Ridings.
