I Napier, October 13. The brigantine Dunedin, bound from Mercury Bay jto Dunedin, has put in here 'if-'- -in a distressful state. When off Cape Jltdfiagper she experienced a heavy sojijthe^y^gale^and ran for shelter and made for the lee of the Cape. In coming round she ran on Black reef and commenced to fill rapidly, but her buoyant cargo of timber kept her afloat and she made for Napier roadstead and was towed inside.
