RELIEVING KASSALA.
Souakim, Octobers. Advices are to hand from Ras Aloula, who is directing the operations of Abyssinian bands against the rebel Arabs between Massowah and Kassala, and he reports that he has fought an engagement with a large force of Hadendowas, and that he was successful in defeating the enemy, i who suffered considerable loss in killed and wounded.
