Nelson, October 5. The schooner Awaroa, concerning the safety of which grave fears were entertained, arrived safely this afternoon. She left Wanganui for this port nine days '• since, and being blown down aa far as Cape Campbell made-Port Underwood, and remained there till the weather moderated. Wanganui, October 5. Captain Vickerman, of the s. s. Murray, reports having seen a topsail schooner, which he took to be Awaroa, bearing down 81ind Bay about five last night.
