AN INSANE LOVER.

- A tragic-ending to a lore suit comes to ill from the United States. According to % Franklin Gity dispatch all Chincoteaeue bland is agog with excitement over the •hooting of Mrs Sarah Hill and Miss Jeannie Hill, wife and daughter of Mr j Rmothy Hill, by William T. Freeman, «rho then blew his own brains out. Freeman was a New York newsboy, whom Mr Hill adopted ten or twelve years ago. He became strongly attached to Miss Jennie Hill a year or two ago^and made 3. proposal of marriage. The girl rejected the proffer, as she did not consider Freeman her equal, although he had been her conBtant companion for several years during her youth. She was remarkably pretty, and seems to have been a great favorite allover the island. The other day Freeman again proposed to her in the presence of her mother. She refused his offer,,; and then the infuriated lover drew huputojf and commenced firing. Each woman received two bullets in the head. Mrs Hill was first wounded while grappling with the murderer, who held her at arm s length, and shot her squarely in the forehead. When the eon of Mr Bill commenced to run to the scene, Freeman turned the pistol on himself and blew his brains out, his corpse falling across Miss Jennie's prostrate body. The girl was highly educated, having graduated from a whool in Baltimore about a year ago.
