A STERN-WHEEL STEAMER.
Wanganui, July 22. Afc a meeting of the shareholders of the Wanganui Steam Navigation Compay this evening, it was decided to increase the capital of the company to £3000. The tender of David Murray, Wanganui, for a stern- wheel steel steamer, was accepted, price £2255. The steamer will commence running on the Ist January next.
