Wellington, July 22. In spite of the many disquieting rumors afloat, the want of confidence motion was not tabled, and the event too of the business was not interrupted by any sensation. The Plurality of Votes Bill was read a third time on a division, but it cams to grief after dinner, when a division was taken on the question that the bill do now pass, which resulted in a tie of 36. The Speaker gave his casting vote in favor of the noes, and the bill was consequently relegated to oblivion. The Seamen Representation Bill was committed and agreed to with amendments. The final reading will come on tomorrow (Thursday). , The House then went into committee on private bills.
