She had 10 boxes of specie valued at £50,000, shipped to Sydney by the Bank of Australasia, and consigned to the Californian' ' Bank of San Francisco. Among the passengers were detectives Tracey and Badger, in charge of Maxwell, charged with the, murder of Preller, at St. Louis! ■ "
