[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] SHIP JOHN DE COSTA.

Melbourne, July 21. Tolegrams received to-day report that the ship John De Costa (1753 tons), Captain Dakes, which/ : left this port on the 21st June, for Calcutta with a cargo of horses for . the Indian market, has been totally wrecked on Thursday Island, and 140 horses were lost. The crew of the vessel were saved.
