FIRE.

About 12.30 to-day a fire broke out in Bennett's woodware factory, Carterton, and was not subdued until Rising's furniture establishment was completely destroyed. Both were large buildings. On the south side W. Booth's residence was much damaged. There was no wind or the whole block must have gone.
